These guys are some of my favourite phasmids to keep, they have evolved over many thousands of years to imitate dead leaves. They will happily dance in your hand, and are non venomous, living entirely on eucalyptus and focusing most of their attention on avoiding conflict or attention!

A great starter pet for those looking to get into invertebrates, fascinating learning tool and easy to care for once reaching adulthood (this varies and depends on a consistent ideal environment and diet)

Feed on eucalyptus, this must be free of pesticides (insect killer) mist enclosure once daily, the insects will drink the droplets.

For adult layers (females will lay eggs regardless of mating once adults)
You can put paper towel in the base, this makes collection easier than on substrate and helps control numbers if you are keeping a few or breeding.

Bioactive (low maintenance)
A coco coir base can be added to a well ventilated enclosure (fabric/ plastic or metal mesh is best suited) springtails and isopods can then be added to the substrate this will remove need for cleaning as they will eat any insect waste and leaf litter for you, I also sell clean up crews under ‘live culture supplies’ 🌱
