Hand mixed pesticide/chemical/additive free substrate packs, various sizes and types available to suit you enclosure size and invertebrate species.

A base layer for your arboreal and terrestrial invertebrates, its main use is to provide a soft cushioned bioactive optional substrate, in 2 sizes to fully line the small and medium enclosures, plants and scaping can then be added, with springtails if required.
(Not suited to deep burrowing types)
This mixture comes in two sizes and is perfect for your loam loving, rainforest habitat dwelling invertebrates.

-Charcoal (Helps purify air, hygiene booster)
-Orchid bark

Ingredients are altered according to the requirements of multiple types, this pack has a wide variation of ingredients, it provides a clean, fluffy substrate layer with lots of air pockets and moisture capturing additives, it has charcoal mixed in to absorb impurities in the enclosure and the orchid bark/coarse grit breaks up the peat base, this is a functional mix but also looks very natural when scaped/ decor is added, due to having so many earthy colours.

*Please be aware this is a composting material and will create heat/humidity within the bag, holes are pinned into each bag to avoid overheating/possible combustion (As with any compost or soil bags, please open the bag in a well ventilated area and avoid breathing in any dust)
