These are all excellent additions to your feeding shedule, carrot and other mono veggies are often used as a convenient food and moisture source for detritivors and scavengers.

If your bioactive is not well 'aged' or 'seasoned' with multiple layers of invertebrates in the soil web, it can result in poor diet variety and nutrient availability.
This producea smaller isopods through the generations (from my own experience) and becomes dank, instead of busy and healthy as matter is broken down efficiently (hence, bioactive)

Dry additives provide compact mineral availability that can be given in small amounts with a big impact and less moulding/fly issues.
